Retro 2015 Mazda Carol Reveal in China

Published by at 3:06 pm under Auto Shows

Mazda has released a retro new vehicle in China, one that sadly won’t make its way to the United States in the foreseeable future, but is fun to gawk at nonetheless: the 2015 Mazda Carol, a similar car to the Suzuki Alto.

The tiny car holds up to four occupants and only rocks 63 horsepower, meaning it’s no powerhouse of a car. That’s simply not its purpose. The small 2015 Carol is perfect for narrow lanes, smaller parking spaces, and quiet, residential life. You can check out pictures of it here.

The 2015 Carol also only costs about 847,800 yen, which converts to a little bit more than $7,000. Not a bad price tag for a car that fits four people – and that can achieve just less than 64 miles per gallon.

While little cars like the 2015 Mazda Carol become more and more popular around the world—even in the United States, where the subcompact category is growing faster than ever—it’s safe to assume that similar cars will find their way across the sea in the future.
