2016 Mazda CX-3 Debut Reveals Minimalist Crossover

Published by at 8:55 am under Mazda CX-3

Mazda unveiled its new 2016 CX-3 crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show last Wednesday, one of the first of its kind for the brand. This subcompact vehicle functions as the perfect choice for city-dwellers who need a quality car in a smaller package.

On the outside, the 2016 CX-3 looks a lot like upcoming Mazda MX-5 Miata, with its rounded, swoopy design; however, the interior has more in common with the Mazda2 and Mazda3. It’s visually reminiscent of a sports car, while maintaining its hearty status as a crossover.

The 2016 Mazda CX-3 debut also came with a promise of optional all-wheel drive, thanks to popular demand, for those sloshy, snowy days in town. Additionally, drivers will find the buttons and levers inside the vehicle at a minimum, just like the car’s carbon footprint.

There’s no word on when the 2016 CX-3 will find its way to dealerships, but for now, feel free to check out our many models at Sierra Mazda.
